"Plagiarism: a Misplaced Emphasis," by Brian Martin. This article distinguishes between "institutionalized" plagiarism, which includes both ghostwriting and the widespread practice of superiors in an organization takign credit for the work of junior members, and "competitive" plagiarism, which is found in academic and intellectual circles.
"Preventing Academic Dishonesty," by Barbara Gross Davis. This site offers lots of good advice about preventing and dealing with plagiarism.
"The New Plagiarism: Seven Antidotes to Prevent Highway Robbery in an Electronic Age," by Jamie McKenzie. This site offers a lot of practical ideas for designing research assignments that won't lead to plagiarism. However, the formatting is a little confusing.
"Anti-Plagiarism Strategies for Research Papers," by Robert Harris. Another good "advice for the professor" site.
