in Huddle's "Littlle Sawtooth", Michelle fears telling anyone about the occurance. The narrorator of the story , I believe, is of little importance to the actual plot. He is used to tell the story of Michelle and Hammett, but is also a priest-figure who hears the "confession" of Michelle. In this way, there is a sub story that begins when this man recalls this memory that creeps back to him as he sits alone in the dark. His relationship with her is irrelevent, due to the fact that they were never cose, and also because he lost contact with her . So the story revolves arouun this one incident that Michelle unfortunately experienced. Hammett's glasses not only remind Michelle of the man she once loved, but they are also windows that look into the horrible past that she hopes to forget. Still, she cannot let go of them. she tells no one about what happened, yet she hopes someone will discover this secret.
