Huddle frames the story at first from the point of view of a graduate student from the University of Idaho, who is the narrator. Then the story shifts as Michelle tells him her story. In her story obviously she is the narrator. The story changes from first person point of view to the third person’s point of view. Huddle tells the story this way because he wants to show us the opinion of the original narrator of the story. He also wants the main story, which is Michelle’s story, to be from a first person’s point of view.
