Price characterizes Rosacoke as a simple teenager who has the same thoughts as any other teenager nowadays has. She is given a character that encompasses love, compassion and more than anything, a deep sense of family unity. Rosacoke has a boyfriend whom she longs to see. She longs to be with him, talk to him and possibly share the emotions that she's going through. It is because she unquestionably goes over her grandfather's "hospital" that she is reveals a sense of duty and obligation to the closest people to her.
