Nancy Merlino FMAM Program Director & Chair of the Western Collegiate Food Marketing Competition
You will hear me say "Think out of the Box". I push students to achieve at a level higher than they are used to. From business industry experience I bring the real world into the classroom and help prepare my students to succeed in the business world. I encourage my students to be on the Western Collegiete Food Marketing Team that competes in the spring. Tel: (909) 869-2270 Building 2, 213 namerlino@csupomona.com

Bill Hughes- Director of Equine Science, Director W.K. Kellogg Arabian Horse Center, and Professor
Do you want to succeed in the Horse Business? Take my class! What is your horse worth? How do I get into the horse business and what do I need to know? What does a manager need to know about Balance Sheets, Cash Flow Statement, and Income Statements? What liability do I face in a horse business?

Rick Mathias
As a practicing accountant and manager for many years, I possess the requisite skills to guide students through the accounting and finance mine fields. My instructional techniques emphasize forecasting, modeling, practical and real-world examples as well as computer training that can and will be used for a lifetime. Small classes provide a forum for the discussion of relevant issues and testing is "open book and class notes".

Dr. Arthur Parker- Professor Emertitus
I always welcome having students come by to talk about what may be on their minds. Feel free to drop by just about any time. I want to get to know you as a person, rather than simply as a face in the classroom.

Dr. Jon C. Phillips - Assistant Professor
Since arriving at Cal Poly Pomona in 2002, I have been very impressed with the people here. Before that, I was involved with several strategic planning research projects for agribusinesses. I often use these experiences as examples of important concepts in the classes I teach. I enjoy working with students, especially ones with an open, receptive, and inquisitive attitude regarding their education. If you are interested in writing a research paper for an independent study, please contact me. jcphillips@csupomona.edu (909) 869-3721
