Email Account Information

Client Setup Instruction Guides:

The step-by-step configuration guides below will assist you in configuring your email client (i.e. Outlook, Entourage, etc) with the Cal Poly Pomona Exchange email servers. Once configured, you may use your email client to send, receive, and edit email from your Cal Poly Pomona email address.

Email Server Addresses:

If you are already familiar with your email client configuration interface, you may simply enter the Exchange address into your email client application as shown below. Note: All user email is on the Exchange server.

Note: We are ensuring that our email is even more secure by supporting "Secure Socket Layer" (SSL) for our Webmail, POP, IMAP and SMTP servers.

If you need to send or receive email before completing configuration of your local email client, you can still access email through your web browser interface at:

https://exchange.csupomona.edu.

VPN - Virtual Private Network

Cal Poly Pomona faculty, staff and students may need to use a VPN (Virtual Private Network) to access certain information technology resources when away from campus. The VPN provides a secure connection from your computer off campus, through the Internet, to the network and information resources at Cal Poly Pomona.

Personal Digital Assistants (PDAs)

Personal Digital Assistants (PDAs), handheld computers, are seeing much more use in academia. View info and directions on how to configure your PDA to synchronize with the Exchange Server for email and calendar.
