In the Managing Course Content, you will learn how to use the the Content System and Content Areas within Blackboard to upload your files, such as a syllabi or course lecture materials, and organize them in a user-intuitive, structured manner.
You will learn how to create assignments for your students, attach instructional documents to your assignments, and grade assignments that your students submit in Blackboard.
The Blackboard gradebook can be used with tests and assignments deployed within Blackboard. It can also be used to keep track of grades of tests and assignments not contained within Blackboard. You will be introduced to a variety of gradebook components and learn how to create, manage, and navigate items within your gradebook.
In this section you will learn how to create quizzes using question types ranging from multiple choice, true/false, and essay questions. You will learn how to customize your assessment with options including answer feedback, time limits, and multiple attempts. You will also learn how to deploy your assessments to students.
Blackboard allows you to communicate with students online throughout your course. In this section you will learn how to send email and messages to your students through Blackboard and increase student interaction with the use of Blackboard's Discussion Board.
With Blackboard's Group Management tool you can create student groups and allow each group to have its own private discsussion board, file exchange, email list and chat room.
