Corporate Information is organized by country with the USA first, with a choice for public
companies. It has a search engine where you can enter a name.
eSignal
eSignal includes a wide variety of free company data including Stock
quotes. Use the stock ticker symbol to find the company.
Hoover's Online
Though this is a fee-based site the "Hoover's Company Capsules" link brings brief
data for more than 11,000 of the largest public and private companies worldwide including a
description of the company, address, officers, sales and employment figures, and links to
financial reports, stock quotes, SEC filings, and news searches.
IPO Central
IPO stands for "Initial Public Offering"; go here (also from Hoover's) to find companies
that have gone public or registered to go public.
Quicken.com
The Quicken.com site brings links to news stories about companies.
Wall Street Research Net Company Research
Search for US and Canadian public companies by name, select from an alphabet,
or by stock ticker symbol. The display will include the company's home page,
stock price, news, SEC filings, charts, earnings estimates, and research reports.
Wright Research Center
Wright presents text and financial data on some 18,000 public companies worldwide.
EDGAR Database of Corporate Information
Search the last three years by entering the company name: Search EDGAR Archives.
You retrieve the full-text of US Securities & Exchange Commission (SEC) filings (10(K),
8(K), 10(Q), etc.). There are other ways to search EDGAR explained at Search the EDGAR Database.
