"Out of Print" (OP) Sites:

Bookfinder.com
In my opinion Bookfinder is the best "out of print" source, includes the greatest number of out of print titles, over 15 million.

abebooks.com
abebooks is the inventory system of independent bookstores, over 5,000 bookstores and includes new and used books. This is an interesting site for some "off the wall" titles, for instance titles that might only be held at Midnight Special Bookstore, or at Forbidden Planet.

New Books with OP Sites:

AddALL Book Searching and Price Comparison
AddAll searches 41 major bookstores (new with some out of print titles) all at the same time and gives you a comparison of book cost and shipping cost in a nice easy to chart way. Great for getting the best deal on in print books.

BN.com Barnes&Noble
I include Barnes and Noble because it has a new and exciting feature, a real time out of print search of several thousand used and antiquarian Book stores. B&N has contracted with client used bookstores to include their holdings and stock in a search, if you search a title it searches these bookstores, and reflects books actually in stock in stores (unlike Amazon which is really just a out of print search service for a fee, and not a reflection of real time stock inventory).

Auction Sites:

ebay
Of course!

Vendio (formerly AuctionWatch)
Vendio searches hundreds of auction sites all at once.

Book Collecting Sites:

About.Com Books
About.Com Book Collecting has a little of everything about book collecting.
