Introduction
In this module, you will explore the impact of accelerated tropical rainforest destruction, global warming, species extinction and changing weather patterns. First, you will gather background information on the local ecosystem near Cal Poly and plant structures used in the process of photosynthesis. Next, using the interactive simulation, you will perform experiments to determine the importance of reactants and products. Finally, you will apply what you have learned to the problem of deforestation and global warming.
