Company Description: Studio 6 is a high-end multimedia lab open to faculty, students and staff; the Studio specializes in high-end multimedia software applications.
Qualifications: We are looking for an individual to compliment our collaborative environment and who is capable of adhering to deadlines while working on multiple projects. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of web based applications and database design. Interested candidates should know PHP and have excellent skills with HTML, JavaScript, CSS, XML, and Database design skills. Must have experience with Adobe Dreamweaver. Knowledge of Java, Perl, and/or ORACLE are a major plus. Communication skills and the ability to work and contribute in a team environment are a must. This position works with interactive and dynamic online content.
Job Description: The Jr. Web developer provides programming and database support for the I&IT Learning web site and a variety of other interactive media projects used in training and eLearning. Works on interactive applications from concept to completion. Provides recommendations and uses best practices for creation of web pages and applications. Test and troubleshoots projects across different computers, browsers, and makes sure that code validates to W3, accessibility, and industry standards. Meets with clients and provides solutions on clients' need. Assignments may include web-design, database design, application development, web authoring, testing, and other duties as assigned.
