GE AssessmentThe assessment of the General Education (GE) program is an outcomes assessment of the program mandated by the Trustees of the California State University (CSU) in Executive Order 1033 and by the senior division of the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC) in their Standards. The assessment is expected to address, through the identification of learning outcomes, the place of the GE program as a whole, as well as each area of GE, in a student's education. The assessments should evaluate, through direct and indirect measures, to what extent the expectations of the program are being met.
